An apparatus for demonstrating thermal expansion, comprising of a captive brass ball secured to a mounted brass ring by a chain. Ring mounted rod with wooden handle. The ball passes through the ring when cold but will not pass through when heated, ball dia 25mm.

RIPPLE TANK PSAW (1211 A )
For demonstration or small group work, it generates straight and circular wave forms. It comes complete with all the accessories required to perform investigations and experiments into reflection, refraction and interference effects. A low voltage power supply source is required for
illumination and the propagation of waves. The tank is formed from a tough plastic surround with a perspex base. The unit also includes a ‘Beach’ feature which eliminates any unwanted reflections.
