The atomic energy levels, the transpirations between these levels, and the associated spectral lines discussed to this point have implicitly assumed that there are no magnetic fields influencing the atom. If there are magnetic fields present, the atomic energy levels are split into a large number of levels and the spectral lines are also split . This splitting is called the Zeeman Effect.

1 ½ meter long for PSAW He - Ne Laser High quality precision bench suitable for more advanced work. This all metallic double rod bench 1 ½ meter long is supplied either with brass rods or with stainless steel rods. Durable heavy metallic feets are provided with third supporting rod. Consist of three sliders, one rider & one most special mount as bove fo He - Ne Laser.

PSAW decade condenser boxes are constructed from highly quality silver mica, polyster and metal film capacitor (working voltage 250 V) of extremely low power factor. The capacitors are mounted on a 4 pole 11 position high grade band switches, which are arranged on a bakelite panel and enclosed in a teakwood box. The decade condenser boxes are also supplied in a superior quality metal case (channel - in - cannel design). In temporary circuits, so often used in teaching and experimental work, these capacitance boxes have proved practical.

This coil, specially designed for school use is suitable for vaccum tubes and audiometers etc. It is wound with insulated copper wire, has tungsten contacts and on/off reversing switch as communicator. Voltage tested condenser are fitted inside the teak polish wooden box. The top of the wooden box is provided with sun mica and relevant data engraved on the sun mica. Terminals are provided for H.T. output and L.T. input of the coil. Up to 50 mm spark is obtained with 4 to 6 volt D.C. input and spark from 50 to 100 mm can be obtained by 6 to 12 volt D.C. input

This consists of a specimen of iron from would with two uniformly spaced coils of wires. Soft iron ring is of dia. 75 mm and cross sectional dia. is 9 mm. The primary winding consists of 200 turns of insulated copper wire of proper gauge with binding post terminals and secondary winding consists of about 25 turns of fine wire.
