KINETIC THEORY MODEL. (1451 )
Visualising random motion in gases is a difficult concept
to imagine. This Kinetic Theory apparatus enables
students to see this phenomena. In a clear plexi glass
quantitive demonstration. It demonstrates Kinetic Theory
of Gases, variable speed, low voltage 6V D.C. dimensions

CAPILLARY TUBE APPARATUS. (1453 )
For demonstrating the relationship between capillary pressure and the bore diameter of the capillary tube. The apparatus comprises a metal frame, the base of which takes the form of a trough 115x40x10mm. The upper part of the frame supports six capillary tubes, each of a different bore, their lower ends resting in the bottom trough. When trough is filled with water the difference in
heights of the resulting columns of water in the tubes is readily apparent. Overall height of frame 90mm. Length of capillary tubes 150mm.

HYDRAULIC PRESS. (1454 )
Two heavy walled glass cylinders 40mm and 15mm inner dia, respectively both fitted with non-return valves, and pistons, pump worked by hand lever 31.5cm long ratio about 2:1 safety valve provided in the large piston so that pressure in excess of that which can safely be applied to the glass cylinder enables the water to rise above the piston and escape through the overflow pipe at the top; stopcock at the base of the small cylinder for replenishing cylinders with water by rubber tubing from beaker of water. Removable loading platform: wedges for breaking
metal bars. Strongly constructed and mounted on base board 29x19cm complete.

LINEAR AIR TRACK. (1458 )
The air track may be used to perform numerous
experiments easily and accurately with almost the total
absence of friction errors. Topics such as frictionless motion,
elastic and inelastics collisions, and the concepts of velocity,
acceleration, conversation of momentum etc. can be dealt
with. Along anodized aluminium track of special shape
and propartion is mounted and aligned on a sturdy base.
Various gliders, which float to and fro on the air cushion,
together with a large number of attachment are provided
to cover the largest range of experiments. Track and
attachments are packed in kit form complete with operating
instructions. The air track comes complete with blower,
hose, adaptor and mains lead.

‘G’ BY FREE FALL APPARATUS. (1459 )
This apparatus consists of a solenoid (for prompt release
of the sphere on being disconnected) and gate switch unit
mounted on a base, which is clamped on a 12mm dia.
retort stand rod.
Connections are made through 4mm sockets. The gate
switch unit consists of a hinged metal plate held against an
adjustable contact by means of small permanent magnet so
that by proper adjustment, the plate falls promptly at the
impact of the falling sphere. Centisecond timer can be used
with this apparatus.
