Magnetic Field Apparatus (1474 )

To demonstrate the production of magnetic field by current flowing in a solenoid. A small wooden table supports a bakelite ring with three coils of enamelled copper wire of 5, 10 and 15 turns respectively connected to the terminals at the edge of the base.

Reflection of Sound Apparatus (1475 )

For proving that angles of incidence and reflection are equal for any setting. A protector (actual ‘D’) is screen printed on a superior quality laminated board. It consists of two independent arms containing 12” long stainless steel pipes. One arm is set at any arbitrary angle and other is adjusted till one listens to the maximum sound. At the position of maximum sound to angles will be equal as indicating by the ‘D’ reading.

Elongation of Spring (1476 )

A sprial spring of 15 mm dia and 10 cm is firmly attched to a rigid clamp of a stand at its upper and with the help of a chucknet. A slotted weight (50 x 5 gm set) is attached to its lower end. A pointer is fixed in horizontal position at the lower end of the spring just above the hanger. A half meter scale is fixed vertically in the same stand. It is kept in front of the pointer such that the tip of the pointer moves just over the scale without touching it. Supplied with 50 x 5 gm slotted weight.

Meld’s Apparatus (1477 )

This mass wise and powerful which has a frequency of approx. 60 vibrations per sec., is ideal for producing standing waves and is mounted on a heavy cast iron base. An electromagnet is arranged between the prongs of the fork without touching it. A small spring type strip is attached to the one of the prongs. A screw just makes a contact with this strip Supplied with scale pan, bench clamp with pulley but without weight and thread.

Ohms Law Apparatus with built in D.C. Power Supply (1615 A )

Specifications are same as above but we use 5 V and 500 mA meters instead of 10 V and 25 mA as started above. A small D.C. Battery eliminator of 6 V, 500 mA is built in, in Ohms law apparatus. We need not to use D.C. supply or D.C. battery from outside.

Ohms Law Apparatus (1615 )

It consists of one voltmeter of 10 V, one milliammeter of 25 mA. Two 4 mm socket terminals are provided for the connection of unknown resistance & another two terminals for D.C. supply. As on/of switch and a potentimeter of 25 ohms, 3 W is also provided. The whole system is enclosed in a superior quality plastic box. Supplied without resistance coil and D.C. supply.

Resistance in Series and Parallel (1673 C )

Economy model. Both resistance in series and parallel are supplied only in one board. One voltmeter of 10 V and 250 mA meter is used. Two resistance coil 40 ohm and 60 ohm are connected in series and two resistance 80 ohm and 120 ohm are connected in parallel. Two terminals are provided for battery. An on/off switch and banana plug is provided. Supplied without battery.

Resistance in Series and Parallel (1673 B )

To verify the law of resistance in series and parallel we provide two different boards one for resistance in series and another for resistance in parallel. Resistance is Series : It consist of one voltmeter of 10 V and one milliammeter of 250 mA. Three carbon resistance of capacity 2 W with range of 330 ohm, 39 ohm and 56 ohm are connected in series. Separate connections are given for each resistance. Superior quality 4 mm banana plug if also provided. Two 4 mm socket terminals are provided for D.C. supply. The whole system is enclosed in superior quality plastic box. Resistance in Parallel : It consists of only one milliammeter of 250 mA. Three resistance of same type as started above are connected in parallel. Rest specifications are same as above.

Variac Single Phase Three Phase (1682 )

These variable transformers enable continuously variable A.C. Voltage to be obtained from normal A.C. Mains. The output is variable from 0 to 270 V from a nominal mains input of 240 V (i.e. Giving maximum output voltage 15% above the input supply). Contact between the winding and load is through a carbon brush which covers at least one turn of wire at all times. The area of winding swept by the brush is plated with a precious metal which eliminates oxidations and ensures a long working life with negligible maintenance. A 2Amp. 0-250 Ac B Single phase 15 Amp.
