A neat stainless steel operating table with improved drainage, improved multiple heating; greater versatility and convenience in use; all steel frame. Combining the advantageous features of the Brodie operating table, and modern trends in stainless steel operating furniture, this table will be found ideally suited for all classroom animal work.

Top 51"x 18"x 40" high, made entirely from stainless steel, in two halves sloping towards the center. A small wedge over the whole length separates the two halves. Under the wedge is provided a brass drain pipe, removable and replaceable by sliding IN or OUT. Blood and other fluids flow towards the center of table, from where these drip into the drain pipe, and are carried through an end drain-tube to the receptacle. After operation the whole top can be washed clean, the drain pipe removed, cleaned and replaced.

The stainless top is heated by a set of electric lamps, placed to effect balanced heat dissipation. Tying-up cleats are fitted. Dog holder with its stainless steel upright and universal joint. Two stainless steel uprights slide along slots in the top, and will be found useful for fixing accessories. A stainless steel swing tray is fitted on an upright in one corner of the top and will be found very useful for placing dissecting instruments, accessories etc.

(a) Laboratory size, hammer type, with H.P. heavy duty motor (single phase) 220 volts, 50C/S A.C. consisting of four steel hammers fixed to a disc of 3" in dia 1" thick through which passes a shaft being revolved at 3000 R.P.M. The hammers are enclosed in a C.I. drum, the sides and upper surface of which are roughened. The inner surface is undulating. The lower part of drum is made of chrome plated brass and is detachable so that , SS sieves of different mesh size (a set of three sieves of coarse, medium and fine(Supplied with the instrument) can be easily placed. Hopper is made of die casted aluminium , Built on angle iron frame of size 24"x14"x20" high.

OPERATION TABLE LARGE SIZE:

As per the standard Brodie design; top 51"x18"x40" high, fitted all round with cleats; copper hot plate 24’x12’ with heating chamber ,heated with two electric bulbs; removable 11"x 9" head piece; two stainless steel upright rods sliding in slots; dog holder with its upright and universal joint; controlling switches.

Two partition shelves are provided for accessories etc.. Wheels and handles are fitted. The Brodie’s Anaesthetic Bottle and Air warmer is an optional accessory.

30" x 17" teak top. With 18" x 12" Stainless Steel plate , heated with two electric bulbs. With tying-in-cleats all round, and a stainless steel upright at the head end for taking animal holder.
