This unit is based on Desaga German pattern having movable applicator with in built thickness arrangement between 0 to 2mm have the following components :-

a) Spreader (Applicator) made of electroplated brass.

b) Perspex Base size 114x23cm to support 5 glass plates of size 20x20cm and 2 plates of 20x5cm.

c) Plate Rack Aluminium for ten 20x20 cm plates.

d) Spotting Termplate made of perspex.

e) Developing tank with lid.

f) T.L.C. plates set of five 20x20cm & two 20 x 5 cm orset of ten 20x10 cm. and two 20 x 5 cm.

a) U.V. CHROMATOGRAPHY: Inspection cabinet for viewing and detecting separated substances on T.L.C. layers fitted with long wave (365nm) U.V. Lamp for use on 220V A.C.

c) U.V. INSPECTION CABINET (SHORT AND LONG WAVE) (DUAL WAVE):- having imported filters fitted with separate low pressure mercury vapour tubes for short U.V. (254 nm) and long U.V. (365nm) plus separate lamp for visible light, the low pressure mercury vapour tubes in this model facilitate immediate use for inspection as you switch on.

The machine is worked by oil immersed gearbox with 1/4 H.P. Motor driven, or by Heavy duty DC Geared Motor.Air blower is operated independently and air is thermostatically controlled to give temperature 30° to 110°C. Switches for motor & blower are fixed on a panel with neon indicators. Also mains lead with 15 amp plug provided.

I.P. standard as above with single disc. with six removable glass vessels (7.5 x 20 mm dia) have a stainless steel wire mesh bottom, which dip in water in a beaker of 1000 mI. kept on the hot plate, temperature of which is maintained 37°C with an accuracy of ±1°C.
