A 4 digit or 5 digit solid state digital display for

a) Measuring elapsed time in increments of 1/100 or 1/1000 sec. Upto maximum of 99.99 or 99.999 &

b) counting number of events etc. upto a maximum of 9999 or 99999.

Measures the time interval after which the subject’s response is same as any of the four visual stimuli(different colours) presented with 4 digit chronoscope.

Measures the time interval after which the subject responds when any of the two visual( different colours) or two aural( different tones) stimulus is presented with 4 digit chronoscope.

Five holes of different sizes for passing the probe through. The total duration during which the probe touches the sides of the hole (error time) is presented on a 4 digit digital chronoscope. Trial time can be selected from 5 to 45 seconds in stepd of 5 seconds.

The test equipment work on up and down movement of tablet in medium of water kept at 370C. Built in a steel cabinet of 17"x12"x9" high which housed a geared motor for the vertical shaft drive the shaft moves up and down by 50 to 60 mm at speed of 28-32 strokes per minute. On the upper end of the shaft fitted a horizontal strip with clamp on either side. These clamps hold glass vessels open at both ends and with stainless steel wire gauge with rubber rings at the lower end, which dips in water. Two independently thermostatically controlled hot plate rating 65 watt are fixed on the top of the cabinet upon which beakers of 1000 ml size are placed filled with water. Temperature is maintained at 37°C with and accuracy of 10C. Independent switches with neon indicators for motor hot plates are fitted on a panel. Mains fuse with two meters mains cord and plug provided. Work on 220 volts A.C. mains.

The apparatus consists of 4 parts. A water bath with 500 watt heater covered 1000 mI. vessel made from Borosil glass and digital temperature control. Variable speed motor, with 30cms longs stainless steel shaft. A cylindrical stainless steel basket and a membrane fixing attachment, water bath is made of imported thick Acrylic sheet with transparent cover at top. Temperature of the bath is maintained at 37°C with an accuracy of ±1° C.A cylindrical glass vessel of 1000 ml. capacity with slightly concave bottom has a flenged edge at the top to accept a fitted cover having four holes. One hole placed in the centre. The shaft of the motor is fitted on an up right and has an electronic speed regulating device that allows the speed to be varied from 25 to 250 R.P.M. The shaft is 6 mm dia. 30 cms on with basket fitted at end rotates smoothly and without any significant wobble. The basket consist of two parts one of which is attached to the shaft. It is of solid metal except for 2 mm vent and is screwed on the main shaft.Lower part of the basket is held with this part by means of threading and this allows proper removal of lower part for introduction of the test samples. The detachable part of the basket is fabricated of stainless steel mesh formed into cylinder of size 36 mm x 25 mm dia. The equipment is workable on 220 volts 50 C/S A.C. but Analog type single stage.
