Two heavy walled glass cylinders 40mm and 15mm inner dia, respectively both fitted with non-return valves, and pistons, pump worked by hand lever 31.5cm long ratio about 2:1 safety valve provided in the large piston so that pressure in excess of that which can safely be applied to the glass cylinder enables the water to rise above the piston and escape through the overflow pipe at the top; stopcock at the base of the small cylinder for replenishing cylinders with water by rubber tubing from beaker of water. Removable loading platform: wedges for breaking
metal bars. Strongly constructed and mounted on base board 29x19cm complete.
