LARGE ADJUSTABLE STAND

A useful accessory for research work. The massive Lathe-slide upright carries a 3 x2 " platform, having two eyebolts which hold rods or the stems of instruments of any size upto 1/2" dia. When not in use these eyebolts drop down into the thickness of the platform, and are thus not liable to the mislaid. The platform has 15" vertical movement through a slow motion screw moving 5mm for each complete turn of the handle. The collar of the handle is divided into 5 parts to denote the rise or fall of the platform to 1mm.

Fitted on the platform is a 3/8" stainless steel upright, carried in a support, provided with fine adjustment. This is easily detached from the platform.
