| It consists of a bakelite moulded ring 170 mm, with three sets of winding - either 2, 50 and 50 turns (depending upon the requirement) respectively, carfully insulated, connected to heavy brass terminals. The number of turns is clearly marked between the terminals.
The ring is mounted on a pivoted round bakelite base which rotates on an aluminum tripod base fitted with three brass leveling screws. The high sensitive compass box (with permanent magnet) is mounted on a substance brass pillar and is free to rotate upon it. The compass is 5” in dia and has a scale graduated to single degrees. Overall height is approx. 9”. All brass parts are chrome plated. Supplied with permanent compass box.
